BHU 2024 Counselling will be held via online mode. From year 2022, the admission for BHU is on the basis of CUET scores. No separate examination was conducted for UG/ PG level courses. BHU counselling is a university level counselling procedure. Only eligible candidates will be able to participate in counselling session. Eligible candidates can get admission in the university and its affiliated institutions. The BHU Counselling 2024 will be started from June 2024 via online mode for UG courses. Candidates those who qualify the CUET exam will be called for the counselling rounds. The procedure for PG courses will be started from June 2024 through CUET PG scores.
The admissions will be provided on the basis of CUET scores. After few days of the display of result, the online counselling procedure will get started. It will be started from June 2024 for UG courses.
For UG courses, general candidates will be required to submit Rs. 300/- as registration fee (General/ OBC/ EWS) & Rs. 150/- for SC/ ST/ PwD. For every additional fee, General/ OBC/ EWS have to submit Rs. 100/- & Rs. 50/- for SC/ ST/ PwD
Candidates will be given an option for freeze/ lock the course allotment only after fee submission.
BHU cut off 2024 will be released through online mode. It will be published by the Banaras Hindu University. The university set the cut off marks for different courses or different categories.

The counselling of BHU Admission 2024 will be done on the basis of CUET scores. The candidate can take part in the counselling on the basis of their ranks scored in CUET. Candidates must make sure they have 12th marksheet & subject eligibility and must have appeared in CUET exam, to be eligible for BHU counselling process.
To login for counselling registration, following steps must be done:
- Select the course & its location
- Fill the subject preference of his/ her choice
- Submit other details such as language/ other subjects (if required)
- Re-check the details.
- Then “Save & Confirm”
The seats will be allotted according to the availability of seats in various colleges and rank of the candidate. Candidates can select the course in which they want to get admission in the order of their preference.
The university conduct its counselling through online mode only. Candidates will get admission to the allotted colleges with the allotment letter provided to them at the time of counseling.
BHU Counselling Procedure 2024
- Candidates will have to log into the website using CUET details.
- After that, enter qualifying marks & upload all required documents.
- Re-check & verify the details.
- After verification, submit the registration fee as per counselling
- Now use CUET application number & admit card or user ID & password to login.
- Now select the course, you have applied for.
- A list of subjects will be appeared, one have applied for.
- Then allow pref entry, if qualifying sub exam given in CUET.
- Repeat the process for all course applied.
- Preview your page & then submit all the details.
- Once all details are completed, a confirmation page along with payment proof will be displayed.
- Then print page with all details & payment proof.
