IIMC 2024 Counselling Registration will get start via online mode. Indian Institute of Mass Communication conducts its own entrance exam to offer admissions. This year, admission into PG diploma courses was through CUET PG as well as their own exams. It offered post graduate diploma courses in journalism in seven languages including English. IIMC 2024 Counselling
All the registered candidates will have to pay the registration fee for general category i.e Rs.1000/- and for SC/ ST candidates fee i.e Rs. 750/-. Candidates who have paid the registration fee successfully will be required to submit the Institute/ campus and program/ course in order of their preference.
The system shows only the valid choices based on the application form details submitted by the candidates. Candidates can fill multiple number of choices in the order of preference. All CUET PG qualified & eligible candidates are required to register for IIMC counselling process.
Candidates are also given choice if they want to change, or re-order their choices. In this case, they can delete the earlier choices and add new choices any number of times until they lock their final choice.
IIMC 2024 Counselling Schedule
The university will conduct the counselling through online mode. The complete counselling schedule will be provided by the university after few days of the publication of merit list.
The counselling will be started after the publication of written result. It will be started from July 2024. The interview will be conducted from the month of September 2024.
The verification of the documents and the choice filling takes place at the counselling venue only. After the allotted time period of the counselling, no candidate will be allowed to participate in the counselling.

IIMC Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility for IIMC 2024 will be as follows:
- Qualification: Candidate must qualify the CUET (PG) 2024 exam and must have All India Rank (AIR).
- Academic Requirement: The candidates must have bachelor’s degree from any recognised university/ institute.
- Age Criteria: The upper age limit for general category must be 35 years. For SC/ ST/ PWD, 30 years and for OBC-NCL age must be 28 years.
- Appearing: Those candidates appearing in final year examination 2024 will be also eligible.
IIMC 2024 Counselling Procedure
Candidates must register for IIMC 2024 Counselling procedure from July 2024. The authority will send the call letter to the qualified candidates inviting for group discussion and personal interview. For Seat Acceptance, candidates will be required to submit Rs. 20,000 as Seat Acceptance Fee.
Candidates must carry their original documents along with them at the time of counselling for the verification. After the selection of the candidates, the final selection list of candidates gets released.

- Category Certificate

Seat Allotment
Seat allotment process will be carried out as per the business rule. Only those candidates who have filled the choices will be eligible for seat allocation.
The choices finally submitted by the candidates or auto locked by the system is processed in order of rank and candidates preference approved by the Seat Allotment Algorithm.
The seats will be allotted in the order of merit as per All India Rank (AIR) and also on the basis of applicable reservation criteria.
IIMC Admission 2024
After the completion of the online counselling, the selected candidates have to complete the admission formalities. Candidates have to report for the admission along with the generated admission letter.
At the time of admission, candidates also have to submit the admission fee to get final admission. It is necessary to submit the original documents to the allotted department.
The admission is allotted to the candidates only within the prescribed time period of the admission mentioned in the admission letter.
