Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (AP Polycet) is a state level entrance examination held every year by the authority. The exam is conducted to provide admission to various diploma courses in the field of engineering and non-engineering/ Technology. AP Polycet 2024 results is available online on 13th May 2024. Candidates can access their results by entering their hall ticket number on the website. The authority has prepared results based on the final answer key.
The authority also release the scorecard for appeared candidates in the exam. Score card include information such as overall and subject-specific scores, candidate’s name, admit card number, and qualifying status. Candidates must keep a printout of AP POLYCET scorecard for further counselling procedure.

AP Polycet 2024 Merit List
AP Polycet 2024 Merit List will be generated for the candidates based on the results. It will be published in PDF format on the website. The name of those candidates who will qualify the exam will be present in the merit list. Selected candidates will have to participate in the counselling procedure to get admission.
If a candidate’s name or roll number does not appear on the merit list, they will not be able to participate in the counselling procedure. The authority will publish a merit list of candidates who pass the exam based on their category.

If two or more candidates receive the same score, the tie will be resolved in following order:
- Candidates with higher math score will be ranked higher,
- If the tie persists, Applicants with higher physics scores will be graded higher.
- If the tie still persists, applicants with a highest physics score will be ranked higher.
- If the tie remains, applicants who are older in age will be given the preference.
AP Polycet 2024 Cut Off
Along with or after publication of result, the authorities will release the cut off on the website. The candidates will be able to check the cut off through online mode in PDF format.
The cut off will be determined based on the difficulty of questions and students’ exam scores. Cut off is minimum number of scores or percentile needed to be admitted in the colleges/ institutes.
AP Polycet 2024 Counselling
The AP Polycet 2024 counselling is the final step in the admission procedure after passing the entrance exam. Candidates who have been shortlisted are able to participate in the counselling process. The online counselling has begin from 24th May 2024.
