Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) Or Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) is a state level entrance exam conducted every year.

The exam is conducted to provide admission in various UG and PG courses. It is conducted by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Uttar Pradesh. From 2022, the admission will be given to the candidates on the basis of CUET scores.

AKTU/ UPTU 2024 Admit Card

The AKTU/ UPTU Admit card 2024 has been made available through online mode. To download the admit card, candidate have to enter application number and password. The admit card for AKTU/ UPTU 2024 has been released 13th May 2024 onwards for CUET UG. It has been released on 7th March 2024 for CUET PG.

It contains details such as exam date, time, venue, roll number, etc. No candidate is allowed to take the examination without having a valid admit card. After downloading the admit card, candidates are instructed to check all the details printed on the admit card carefully.

AKTU/ UPTU 2024 Result

The AKTU/ UPTU 2024 Result will declare in May/ June 2024 for CUET UG and has been declared on 13th April 2024 for CUET PG. The result has been prepared by the authority on the basis of performance of candidates in entrance exam. It has been made available through online mode.

Applicants can check the AKTU/ UPTU result by entering date of birth and roll number. The authority has released the separate merit list for various courses. Candidate can the printout of the result for further use.

AKTU/ UPTU 2024 Counselling

The AKTU/ UPTU Counselling 2024 will commence in July 2024 for CUET UG and CUET PG. Candidates whose name will be present in the merit list will further have to participate in counselling process. It will be available through online mode.

The counselling will be conducted based on UPCET rank and applicants will be called for final admission. Authorities will also verify documents at the time of counselling. So, candidates must carry their relevant documents at the time of reporting for the counselling process.

AKTU/ UPTU 2024 Exam Pattern

Candidates must check the exam pattern of UPCET 2024 as mentioned below:

For CUET (UG):

• Exam mode: AKTU/ UPTU exam will be conducted through online (CBT) mode.
• Duration: The exam duration will be 3 hours and 15 minutes for Slot I and 3 hours 45 minutes for Slot II.
• Type of Questions: The question paper will consists of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs).
• Medium: The paper will be conducted in 13 different languages i.e., Bengali, Gujarati, Assamese, English, Kannada, Marathi, Odia, Hindi, Malayalam, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu.
• Marking scheme: For every correct answer +5 marks will be given and for every wrong answer -1 mark will be deducted.

For CUET PG:

• Exam mode: The exam will be conducted in Online mode (Computer Based Test).
• Number of Questions: There will be total 100 questions in the paper.
• Shifts: Exam will be conducted in 2 shifts.
• Medium: The exam will be held in English and Hindi language.
• Marking scheme: 4 marks will be given for correct response and 1 mark will be deducted for incorrect response.

AKTU/ UPTU 2024 Syllabus

AKTU/ UPTU syllabus is released by the NTA (National Testing Agency) for CUET. The CUET UG syllabus will be based on the NCERT 12^th level and for CUET PG syllabus will be on the basis of UG courses.

• Language: Language to be tested through Reading Comprehension (based on different types of passages–Factual, Literary, and Narrative, Literary Aptitude & Vocabulary.

• The application form through CUET UG has been released on 27th February 2024.
• The Application Form for AKTU/ UPTU 2024 has been made available through online mode.

The eligibility criteria for AKTU/ UPTU 2024 will be as provided below:

Through CUET (UG):

• Nationality: The candidate must be citizen of India to be eligible for exam.
• Age Limit: There will be no age limit for the candidates.
• Qualification: Candidate must pass 12^th level or equivalent from any recognized board.
• Appearing: Those candidates appearing in final year exam in 2024 are eligible to apply.

Through CUET (PG):

For MBA:

• Qualification: Candidate must be graduated from any recognized university/ institute.
• Marks: The applicants must score at least 50% marks to be eligible for exam.
• Appearing: Those candidates appearing in final year 2024 are also eligible to apply for exam.

For MCA:

• Qualification: The candidate must have bachelor’s degree in any discipline from any recognized university/ institute.
• Marks: In qualifying exam candidates must score at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST category).
• Subject: Applicants must have passed in Mathematics in 12^th level or at graduation level as mandatory subject.
