Doon University 2024 Eligibility Criteria

For UG Courses:

• Educational Qualification: Candidates pass in 10+2 from a recognized board of secondary education are eligible to apply.
• Marks: Candidates with minimum 50% marks for general and 45% marks for SC/ST from Uttarakhand category are eligible to apply.
• Subject: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology are the mandatory subjects in the qualifying exam to apply.

Note: Mathematics as a compulsory subject at 10+2 level for BSc (Hons/ with research) course.

For PG Courses:

• Qualification: Those graduated candidates from a recognized university can apply for the exam.
• Marks: Candidates with 50% marks for general and 45% marks for SC/ ST from Uttarakhand are eligible to apply.
• Subjects: The subjects vary for different courses as per the requirement.

For Ph.D Courses:

• Qualification: Candidates with a Master’s degree in any stream from a recognized university can apply.
• Marks: A candidates with minimum 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent are eligible to apply.
• Relaxation: A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50% or an equivalent relaxation of grade are allowed to the SC/ ST/ OBC candidates.

Doon University 2024 Entrance Exam

To provide admission to various courses at University, the Doon University conducts a entrance examination. Exam will be conducted through online & offline method for all the candidates. To appear in the entrance examination, candidates will have to fill the application form on the website.
