Candidates are able to check their NEET 2024 result & rank letter through online process only. No score card is sent to the candidates via offline mode. For SC/ST candidates, no separate result is declared. The merit list is prepared for eligible candidates on the basis of NEET result. Candidates will be called for the NEET 2024 counselling process on the basis of merit list.
The minimum NEET cut-off marks to qualify the NEET exam is 50% (For General category) & 40% (For reserved Category). Candidates are able to check the NEET answer key before the result declaration. The answer key helps the candidates to estimate the minimum score secured in the entrance exam.
NEET Result Declaration Date
The NEET entrance exam has been organised through pen and paper based mode. It has been conducted on 5th May 2024. After one month of the entrance test, authority has published the result for every participated candidate. Candidates are able to check their result on 4th June 2024. The counselling procedure will be started after the result declaration.

NEET 2024 Answer Key
The answer key has been released through online mode. Candidates are able to check the answer key via online mode. With the help of answer key, students can calculate their rough marks they are going to score in the examination. The NEET answer key 2024 bears the correct answers of all the questions asked in the examination.
The authority also provide the facility to challenge against the answer key. Students may challenge the answer key within the prescribed dates. Candidates can challenge the answer key via online mode with the payment of Rs. 200/- per answer. If the challenge are accepted by the authority, the payment can refunded to candidates.
NEET 2024 Merit List
The merit list will be prepared in percentile determined on the basis of highest marks secured by the candidates in the NEET exam. The merit list for 15% All India Quota will be prepared by NTA. Candidates will get admission in colleges or universities as per their position in the merit list. The rank list has been published through online mode.
NEET 2024 Merit List Tie-Breaking Criteria
In order to prepare the merit list, the authority shall use the tie-breaking method. In case candidates score equal marks in the NEET examination, tie-breaking method will be considered. The tie-breaking mention of NEET 2024 exam will be mentioned below:
- Students obtaining higher marks in Biology subject in NEET 2024 exam.
- Students securing higher marks in Chemistry subject in NEET 2024 exam.
- Students securing higher marks in Physics subject in NEET 2024 exam.
- Candidates with less number of wrong question & correct attempts in all subjects of NEET exam.
- Candidates with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Biology section.
- Candidates with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Chemistry section.
- Candidates with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Physics section.

NEET Counselling 2024
After the declaration of NEET Result, candidates will be able to participate in the counselling process followed by the admission in the respective allotted colleges.
Counselling for 15% All India Quota Seats (MBBS/BDS) is regulated by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
NEET 2024 Counselling registration (All India Quota) will be started from July 2024. Candidates will be able to participate in the counselling process conducted by their state medical admission authorities. Provisional allotment will be released in last week of July 2024 for first round.
