Jharkhand NEET 2024 Application has been started from 10th August 2024. It is conducted by the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB). Admission in the state medical colleges and universities of Jharkhand are offered through national level NEET entrance examination. The admissions are offered through the counselling procedure. Candidates can get admission in MBBS and BDS courses through NEET 2024 score card. After the declaration of NEET 2024 written exam result, the state medical authority will published the state merit list for all the candidates of Jharkhand. On the basis of state merit list candidates will be able to participate in the Jharkhand NEET 2024 counselling round. The authority will publish the name of the candidates those selected for counselling according to the cutoff marks. The counselling will be conducted in various rounds on the basis of availability of seats.

The candidates will have to fill the application form to participate in the state counselling. The Registration for counselling procedure will be started after few weeks from the declaration of result. Shortlisted candidates will be able to participate in counselling round through online mode.

Selection & Admission Procedure

• The counselling will be organised through Computerized Multi Table Parallel Counselling.
• The availability of vacant seats will be published on the website as institution-wise and branch-wise.
• The seats will be allotted after the verification of the original documents and choice filling.
• If candidate will not participate in the counselling as per their rank in the merit list their candidature will be cancelled.
• After the completion of first counselling, the second counselling is conducted for which the authority has published the new merit list.
• After the allotment of the seat, candidates will have to report to the allotted college for final admission.

Reservation Criteria

The reservation of seats will be fixed by the state authority in every medical or dental college. Candidates will also have to produce the proof of reserve category in the format given by the official authority. The reservation will be given to the SC/ST/OBC-I/OBC-II/PH category candidates. The percentage of reservation is given below:

• General Category: 50%
• SC Category: 26%
• ST: 10%
• OBC-I: 8%
• OBC-II: 6%

The candidates those are selected for the counselling must bring the original certificates along with one set of Xerox self attested copy.
