TS PGECET 2024 Counselling (Extended): Register Online Here

TS PGECET 2024 Counselling Registration has been extended till 24th August 2024. TS PGECET is a state level examination organizes for providing admission to the M.Tech/ M.Pharmacy/Pharm.D courses. This exam is managed by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technology University, Hyderabad (JNTUH) on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE). The process is consisting of certificate verification & option exercises. In this article, candidates will get detailed information about TS PGECET Counselling 2024.

The University also conduct counselling for GATE/GPAT qualified candidates. The counselling for both GATE/GPAT & TS PGECET is organized separately.

This procedure is comprised of certificate verification, choice filling & seat allotment. Candidates must have to present on the given date & time at the helpline center with all the relevant documents & fee. 

Candidates are called for the counselling rank wise. At the time of registration, candidates have to pay the counselling fee of Rs. 1200/- (Rs. 600 for SC/ST category). The fee is non-refundable. Candidates who qualifies more than one examination (TS PGECET/GATE) have to attend the verification process only once & inform the officer about hall ticket numbers of other examinations.

Counselling Venue:

• Candidates claiming NCC/CAP/ PH (Special Categories) have to attend for certificate verification at Nizam College Basheer Bagh, Hyderabad, Telangana.
• List of Help Line Centers (for certificate verification of other categories viz., OC, BC, SC, ST etc) are given below:
  • JNTUH University, Kukatpally, Hyderabad
  • University P. G. College Secunderabad.
  • Nizam College Basheer Bagh, Hyderabad.
  • Kakatiya University, Warangal

TS PGECET 2024 Cut Off will be the minimum marks required by the candidates for admission. Cut off marks will be different for each category. Candidates must check the TS PGECET cut off after the result.

The complete counselling process details are as mentioned below:

Fee Payment & Document Verification:

Candidates have to register for the counselling & pay the processing fee at nodal centre. Candidates are called for registration according to their rank.

After fee payment, the documents gets verified by the verification officer at helpline centre. He/ She must verify the genuinity of the documents produced & collect the photocopies of certificates. After verification, candidates must collect the Receipt of Certificates from the counter. Candidates must verify their details printed on the receipt of certificates. 

Option Exercise:

Candidates must fill the choice of course/colleges only after verification of documents. This process is organized through online mode on the website. Candidates must give their option on the web either from the helpline centre/home/any other place having the internet facility. Candidates must log in with “Hall Ticket Number”, “Date of Birth” & “Rank” to exercise web-options. Candidates should take a printout copy of the filled choices.

Seat Allotment:

Candidates are informed through SMS about allotment of seats. Candidates should download their provisional allotment order & report to the concerned institution. The seats are allotted to the candidates on the basis of their filled choices, rank, availability of seats, etc.

Reporting:

Candidates who gets a seat they must report at the allotted college along with allotment letter before the last date printed on the letter. Candidates also have to submit their original documents in the allotted college. Candidates should report at the college in a given time otherwise, they lose their seat & their admission will be cancelled.
