Factors Determining JEE Main Cut Off 2024:
Cut Off are the minimum prescribed marks which candidates must obtain to qualify JEE Main exam. Various prestigious institutions like IITs, NITs, IIITs, etc. will offer admission only to the meritorious candidates obtaining the cut off. Cut off prescribed by NTA is set keeping in mind various factors like:

Institution Wise Admission Criteria
JoSAA will release the admission cut off 2024 on the behalf of various institutions on their websites. Students who have qualified the JEE Main cut off released along with the results also need to check the cut off prescribed by various institutions for admission.
However, to get admission in IITs, students need to qualify JEE Advanced exam first for further participation in JoSAA. Candidates can apply for JEE Advanced 2024 for Paper 1 or Paper 2 as per their preference.
For other institutions like NITs, IIEST, IIITs and other GFTIs, candidates need to qualify JEE Main and participate in JoSAA. Students must note qualifying in exam does not guarantee admission in any of the institution. Every institution has additional eligibility norms which candidates need to fulfill to get admission.
JEE Main 2024 JoSAA Counselling
The JOSAA Counselling will be organised in the month of May/ June 2024. To participate in the counselling/ seat allotment process, students must register online on the website. Students can also check their opening and closing ranks announced for various rounds.
