AP LAWCET is a state level law entrance test conducted by Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur. It is organized once in every year. Through this entrance test, candidates will be offered admission into three year & five year LLB programmes in various law colleges situated in the Andhra Pradesh. AP LAWCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Basic Eligibility
- Nationality:
- Applying candidate must be Indian national.
- Resident:
- He/she must be native resident of Andhra Pradesh State.
- Candidates whose both or one of the parents must be domicile of AP.
- Candidates whose both or one of the parents have studied in AP.
Course Wise Eligibility
Check below the eligibility criteria of AP LAWCET 2024 for admission into 3 & 5 years LLB Programme:
For 3 Years LLB Programme:
- Qualifying Exam: Applying candidate should have passed 10+2+3 pattern in any discipline from a recognized Board or University.
- Qualifying Marks: He/she must have obtained minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% for ST/SC candidates) in the qualifying exam.
- Appearing: Candidates appearing in the final year of the college can also apply.
For 5 Years LLB Programme:
- Qualifying Exam: Applying candidate should have passed 10+2 pattern or its equivalent from any recognized Board or University.
- Qualifying Marks: Candidate must have passed with minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% for ST/SC candidates) in his 12th level exams.
AP LAWCET 2024 Application Form
The AP LAWCET 2024 application form will be made available through the website of exam conducting authority. Candidates will be able to fill the application form from third week of March 2024.
The Application Form will be made available for eligible candidates only. Eligible candidates will be able to fill the application form till last week of April 2024 without late fee. Authority will also provide the opportunity to submit the application form with late fee charges even after the last date of submission.
Candidates will also be able to modify/correct mistakes in the application from first week of May 2024. During application process candidates will have to submit application fee of Rs. 900/- for OC category, Rs. 850/- for BC category & Rs. 800/- for SC/ ST category through online mode by debit/credit card or at any AP online centers.
AP LAWCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria for admission into three years & five years LLB programme can be checked from the website. Applicants who successfully qualify the entrance examination and fulfill the eligibility norms will be provided admission into various law institutions located in Andhra Pradesh state.
