JEST 2024 Exam Date has been announced. Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST) is authorized as a National Eligibility Test (NET) by the Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB). It is organized to offer admission in Ph.D. and Integrated Ph.D. courses. JEST is conducted once in a year. The exam is conducted for two subjects namely, theoretical computer science/ neuroscience/ Computational Biology & Physics. JEST 2024 Exam Schedule
Candidates those wishing to apply for JEST 2024 can fill their application form online. The filling and submission of JEST 2024 application form has been started from 6th January 2024. The last date to fill and submit the online application form is till 31st January 2024. Correction process is enabled from 2nd till 4th February 2024.
JEST 2024 Admit card will be downloaded through online mode from the website. Candidates will be required to download fresh admit card. Admit card will be released from February/ March 2024. The JEST 2024 Exam will be conducted on 3rd March 2024.

JEST 2024 Application Form
Candidates must check all the details regarding JEST Application Form 2024 from the below section:
- Application form has been made available from 6th January 2024.
- Candidates can fill their application form through online mode.
- Candidates are advised to fill all the correct details in the application form including education, personal, communication and etc.
- Candidates must upload your scanned passport size photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
- Authority has also provide correction facility to edit incorrect details (if any) in the application form from 2nd till 4th February 2024.
- Do not forget to take a printout of the filled application form for future references.
Application fee can be paid through online mode using debit card, credit card or net banking. Application fee for JEST 2023 is Rs. 800/- for general category (Rs. 400/- for SC/ ST/ Female category candidates). ST/SC Females are exempted to pay the fee.
JEST 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who want to apply for examination must go through the complete JEST eligibility criteria:
- For Ph.D. in Theoretical Computer Science at IMSc: Candidates must have completed M.Sc. /M. E. / M.Tech in Mathematics and Physics.
- For Ph. D Physics: Candidates must pass M.Sc. degree in physics from any recognized university/ institute.
- For Integrated Ph.D. in Computational Biology at IIMCs: Candidates must have passed MCA/ M. Tech/ M.E. / M.Sc. in Science or in any discipline with good Mathematics skill and good knowledge in Biological subjects
