Important Instructions for the Exam Day
Candidates must follow the instructions given below on the JEE Advanced 2024 exam day:
- It will be mandatory for the candidates to carry a printed copy of the admit card and valid original photo identity card in the examination.
- Students must report to the exam centre well in advance and must carry out the requisite formalities before the commencement of exam. The exam centre will open from 7:00 IST.
- No candidate will be allowed to sit in the exam, if they arrive at the exam centre after commencement of examination.
- Candidates will not be allowed to leave the examination hall before 12:00 IST for Paper 1 and before 17:30 IST for Paper 2.
- Smart, digital, analog watches, programmable, mobile phones, bluetooth devices, earphones, microphones, pagers, health bands or any other electronic gadgets will not be permitted to be taken inside the exam hall.
- Applicants will not be allowed to wear charm/taweez, items containing metals such as ring, bracelet, earrings, nose pin, pendant, badge, clothes with big button, brooch, chain and will have to wear open footwear like sandals and chappals.
- All the candidates will be subjected to compulsory frisking before entering the examination centre.
