The board will provide the WBJEE 2024 correction facility for those candidates who have made mistakes in the application form. It is only one time opportunity for candidates to make corrections. After the correction period, no correction can be permitted.
During the correction period (7th- 9th February 2024), candidates can make corrections in the application form using edit mode. The correction is allowed only in some particular fields. The fields that cannot be corrected in the application form are as mentioned below:
- Name
- Father’s Name
- Mother’s Name
- Date of Birth, etc.
WBJEE 2024 Application Form
The WBJEE 2024 application form has been released from 23rd December 2023. It can be filled and submitted through online mode. Candidates have to submit final application form before last date of submission. The application fee is Rs. 500/- (400 for reserved candidates) which can be paid through online modes.
Candidates have to upload the scanned copy of photograph, signature and left-hand thumb impression as per the prescribed format. There is no need to send the printout of the application form to the board.
Candidates are advised to fill application form very carefully as wrong or invalid details can lead toward rejection of Admission and Application Form. However, candidates have correction facility but correction facility is applicable on specific parts of Application Form.

How to Edit WBJEE 2024 Application
Candidates can go through the steps given below to make correction in the application form:
- Firstly, visit the website link (link is given above).
- The candidate’s sign in page will be opened on the screen.
- Enter application number, password and security code.
- Click on the “Sign In” button.
- Now, choose the “Edit” mode.
- Make the necessary correction/editing in the application form.
- After making the correction save it.
- Candidates must take printout of the corrected application form for further use.

The board also provides the facility to make correction in uploaded images. The correction can be done through online mode only.
Candidates will receive any SMS or Email regarding discrepancy in the uploaded images. Candidates have to make correction immediately within one day.
The images should be uploaded as per the specification given in the information bulletin. Candidates are able to check the specifications for images from below:
