NEET MDS 2024 Counselling will be organised in the fourth week of July 2024. NEET MDS (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test for Masters of Dental Surgery) is a national level entrance examination conducted for providing admission into various Masters of Dental Surgery courses. 

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is the conducting authority of NEET MDS entrance exam. Candidates seeking to get admission in MDS courses will be mandatorily required to qualify in the entrance examination. Through this exam, candidates will get admission in various private or government dental colleges located within the country. The Medical Council Committee (MCC), DGHS, Government of India will organise the counselling procedure for allotment of seats to qualified candidates.

NEET MDS 2024 Counselling

NEET MDS 2024 Counselling will be organised in fourth week of July 2024 for the first round. Candidates will be able to participate in counselling procedures through online mode only. The counselling process will consist of registration process, choice filling and locking, document verification etc.

The NEET MDS 2024 Counselling procedure will be conducted in four rounds for admission to 50% of All India Quota (AIQ). Those candidates who have qualified for 50% of AIQ seats on the basis of their ranks in NEET MDS will be eligible to participate in counselling.

The seats will be allotted to candidates after the document verification process and payment of counselling fee. The counselling fee of Rs. 1000/- for general category candidates, Rs.500/- for SC/ST/OBC and Rs 5000/- for all categories (Deemed University) will be required to be submitted to confirm the seats.

NEET MDS 2024 Counselling Procedure

Candidates must check the below steps by step procedures of NEET MDS 2024 Counselling:

Step-1: Counselling Registration

• Go to the website of MCC (link will be given above).
• Click on the “PG Medical Counselling” tab.
• Then, press on “New Registration”.
• Fill the registration form with details like candidates name, roll number, application number, date of birth etc.
• Click on submit button.
• Candidates login details will be generated on the screen after successful registration.

Step-2: Counselling Form Filling

• Once the registration process is completed, candidates will have to login to the website.
• After logging in, fill in the required details like father’s name, address etc.
• Cross check the entered details and submit it.

Step-3: Fee Payment

• After form filling, candidates will be navigated to the payment gateway. 
• The NEET MDS 2024 Counselling Fee will be as follows:

• Select the payment options (debit card/credit card/ net banking etc) 
• Make payment of counselling fee.
• Take the print of fee receipt and registration slip to be used in further admission process.

Step-4 Choice Filling & Locking

• Candidates will be able to fill a number of courses and colleges as per their preferences.
• For filling of reference, candidates will have to  click on “+” button available with every option.
• The choices given on the left side will be automatically shifted to the right side after selection. 
• The options of move up and down, drag and delete the choices will be made available to candidates.
• Click on “Save & Continue” and take the print out of form.

Candidates will have to bring the following documents during NEET MDS 2024 Counselling:

• 10th Marksheet and Pass certificate
• 12th Marksheet and Pass certificate
• NEET MDS Result 2024

• BDS Degree certificate/provisional certificate
• Higher Secondary school certificate/date of birth

• One Identity Proof

NEET MDS 2024 Seat Allotment & Admission

After the successful completion of counselling process, NEET MDS 2024 Seat allotment process will be organised. The NEET MDS Seat Allotment List will be published in first week of August 2024 for the first round. 

The Medical Council Committee (MCC) will publish the seat allotment list via online mode. The list will be prepared based on merit rank, preferences filled and seats available. The list of NEET MDS 2024 Seat Allotment will comprise the name, allotted college, All India Rank (AIR) obtained and category of candidates. 

The candidates selected in the allotment list will be able to download the allotment letter from the website. The allotment letter is an important document candidates will need to carry during the admission process.

What After NEET MDS 2024 Seat Allotment?

Candidates can check the below points for what after the NEET MDS 2024 Seat Allotment:

• Those candidates who have allotted a seat during round 1 of counselling will be able to opt for free exit and directly participate in round 2. 
• Candidates allotted seats in round will also be able to opt for willingness to upgrade from round 1 and round 2  only after physical reporting at allotted college.
• In case, no seats are allotted to registered candidates, then they will be able to participate in round 2 directly without fresh registration.
• Candidates will be required to report at the allotted college along with the original documents of round 1 and complete the admission facilities to upgrade from round 1 to round 2.
