JCECE 2024 Application Form is available from 1st March 2024 through online mode only. Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Exam (JCECE) is a state level entrance exam conducted every year. The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Exam Board (JCECEB) has the authority to conduct the JCECE examination, under the Government of Jharkhand. The JCECEB conducts this entrance exam for admission into B.Tech.(Agriculture Engineering, Dairy Technology), B.Sc. (Agriculture, Forestry, Horticulture), B.V.Sc. & AH, B.F.Sc., Homeopathic, Ayurvedic degree courses. The qualified candidates will get admission into various government and non-government institutions within the state. The application form will be released in the fourth week of May 2024. Applicants are required to read the instructions carefully to fill the JCECE 2024 Application Form: 

• The application form for JCECE 2024 will be commenced through online mode only.
• JCECE 2024 application form will be released from 1st March 2024.
• Mobile number and email Id provided by the candidates should be valid, as all the important information will be given through the SMS or email.
• The application form will be filled by entering details like name, gender, email ID, phone number, address, other personal details and academic details, etc.
• Documents like a scanned passport size photograph and a signature will be uploaded in the JPG or JPEG format. The size of the photo and  the signature should be between 20KB-50KB and 10KB-20KB. 
• Applicants will be  allowed to fill one application form only. Multiple application forms will be rejected.
• Candidates are advised to crosscheck the form before final submission, as there will be no changes modified after the submission of application form.
• Applicants must not forget to take the hardcopy of the filled application form for future reference.

Application Fee:

• Candidates will have to submit the fee through online mode only.
• Registration fee will be submitted using different online payment gateways such as debit card/ credit card/ net banking/ UPI payment.
• Application fee once paid will be non-refundable in any circumstances.
• The Pwd candidates will be exempted to pay the application fee.

JCECE 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Before filling the application form, candidates must check the below mentioned eligibility criteria:

For B.V.Sc. & AH Program: 

• Age Limit: Applicants should be aged between 17 to 25 years as on/or before 31st December 2024. The 5 years relaxation will be given to the reserved category candidates. 
• Educational Qualification: Candidates passed 10+2 standard or its equivalent examination from a recognised board.
• Marks Obtained: A minimum of 50% marks in aggregate should be obtained to be eligible to apply.
• Subjects: Must have Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) and English as a core subject in the qualifying examination.

For BSc (Hons) Agriculture/ Forestry:

• Age Limit: The age of candidates should be between 17 to 22 years as on 1st July 2024. There will be a relaxation of 5 years for reserved category candidates.
• Educational Qualification: Applicants completed 10+2 or its equivalent examination from a recognised board.
• Subjects: Qualify intermediate examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics as a compulsory subjects.

How to Apply for JCECE 2024 

To apply for JCECE 2024, candidates have to follow these steps:

• Go through the website (link will be provided).
• Click on the “Apply Now” button.
• Then, click on the “New Registration” button and enter basic details like name, gender, email ID, date of birth, phone number, etc.
• A registration number will be sent on the registered Id and number.
• Click on the “login” button.
• Fill details like personal details, academic details, etc.
• Upload a scanned passport size photo (20Kb-50Kb) and a signature (10Kb-20Kb) in jpg/jpeg format.
• Also upload category certificates, qualification certificates, EWS/PH certificate, etc in PDF format. The size should not exceed 500Kb.
• Candidates will be prompted to check the details before submission. Fill and make corrections, if any, to submit final data.
• Click on the “Submit” button.
• Click on the “Pay fee” option.
• Select the payment gateways (net banking/debit card/credit card) and submit the fee.
• In the end, do not forget to take the printout of the confirmation page and the fee receipt for further use.
